About the position:
We are looking for dedicated, passionate and trustworthy individuals to join our team in Winter Valley, Ballarat.
As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to empower people with disabilities to live independently in their homes. Supports are provided in a home environment.

We are seeking experienced support workers with complex support experience and positive behavior support.

Annecto is committed to supporting people in achieving independence and capacity building under the NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) framework.

 

We are looking for people with:

• Availability for work three days between Monday to Friday and one weekend per fortnight
• Minimum Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or HACC
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Experience assisting individuals with complex support needs and challenging behaviors
• Experience with providing personal care, including the use of equipment such as hoists, shower chairs and beds
• Current First Aid (with minimum 6-12 months left until expiry)
• Current CPR (with minimum 3-6 months until expiry);
• Knowledge and the ability to apply safe manual handling practices
• A current and valid Driver’s Licence
• Completed NDIS Quality, Safety and You module
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a team environment
