Administration Assistant – Dubbo

We have a Full Time vacancy for an Administration Assistant to support our range of community based aged care programmes.   We are looking for an experienced Administration all-rounder to work with our independent, not for profit organisation located in Dubbo.  As well as Administration duties, you will also be actively involved in service promotion, providing advice to community members on access to community based aged care and working closely with our team of wonderful direct Support team members.

About you: 

The ideal candidate should have the following;

  • Demonstrated previous experience in Administration activities including invoice processing, purchasing and reception duties;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse group;
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a small team environment as well as being able to work autonomously with a high degree of initiative and attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Proficient in the use of computer software: Word, Excel, Internet and email;
  • Demonstrated commitment to Annecto’s  ‘Purpose and Principles’.

What would be great to have?

  • Previous experience with aged care either in a professional, voluntary or caring role.
  • An understanding of the ageing process and its cultural impact;
  • An ability to speak a community language/s.
  • A current valid Australian driver’s license.
