Support Worker - QLD

What we need from you: 

• Availability to work varied days and times 

• A desire to make a difference

• Aged Care Experience or knowledge of active support and capacity building  

• Fluency in a second language (desirable)  

• Creative, strengths-based approach to supports  

• Clear commitment to person-centered planning with a focus on quality and best practice  

• Proficiency in using technology broadly, or the capacity to learn new technology and programs as required  

• Ability to create supportive and professional working partnerships which encourage capacity building  

• Flexible, resilient and adaptive  

• Physically fit to undertake the required tasks of the position as involves household cleaning

• Current First Aid (valid for 6 months) and CPR (valid for 3 months)  

• A current and valid driver’s license along with a reliable, insured and registered vehicle.

• Covid Vaccination

Good to have: 

• Similar experience in a similar organisation.  

• Certificate in Aged Care /Individual Support or desire to obtain

• Personal Care experience.
• Cleaning Experience with a desire to make a difference to our customers
